Mobile phone data has long been identified as promising for improving the relevance of official statistics. Their primary interest is to make it possible to study the population present in a territory at different times of the day, different days of the week or months of the year, important information for health and security services, businesses, etc. (Semecurbe et alii , 2020). Mobile phone data can also provide additional insight into daily mobility. The origin-destination trajectories of phone users allow us to better understand the interactions between territories and the differences in behavior between weekdays and weekends, the influence of teleworking on mobility chinese overseas europe database practices, the mobility of retired people or those with young children, etc. (Figure 3) . These data, available at a high temporal frequency and across the entire territory, complement the reference data provided by public statistics surveys or administrative directories.
