Top domains appearing in Web Stories

The results we obtained from our study were:
The total number of URLs analyzed was 8,266.
The number of unique URLs was 1,073.
The average number of SERPs a story appears in is 5.
On average, a story URL appears on 5 different SERPs. But denmark number for whatsapp according to the median value, more than 50% of the stories analyzed appear on only one SERP.
Most domains (21.4%) have traffic between 0 and 5000, so even small domains tend to appear in the Visual Stories SERP feature.
The 3 domains that appear most frequently are amp.travel (travel niche), washingtonpost.com (publishing niche), stories.mbl.com (sports niche).
Most of the domains that appear in Web Stories have traffic between 0 and 20k, with third place going to domains that exceed 10 million.
4. The text of the Web Stories
The average number of words on a Web Story page is 22, while the maximum number of words is 194. 11% of all pages have no text (we assumed that stories with 1-3 words had no text, and that these could be, for example, the name of the object in the photo).
If we analyze the texts, we can see from the distribution of the number of words that there are two peaks:
Pages that contain 4 to 10 words: These make people focus on the visual content.
Pages containing 20 to 30 words: Informational pages that provide detailed text.
It is not popular to put a huge amount of information on a page since Web Stories are a very visual medium. The creators seem to aim for a balance in content between beautiful images and text.
