Recreational Sports: German Team Championships on 24/25 October 2015 – UPDATE Final Results

The German Recreational Team Championships took place on October 24-25, 2015, in Munich. In the women's competition, DJK Darching was unstoppable from first place, scoring 1,918 (!) pins on Sunday morning. In the men's competition, Scharf-Schieber Obergünzburg (1962) became the new German champions, with an outstanding performance from Helmut Kazmierczak (526). And in the mixed doubles competition, it remained exciting until the very end, before Gut Holz 66 Lauf prevailed with 1,911 pins. Marion Gloßner-Fuchs, the best individual player from this team, also came from this team, with 511 pins.
Fellow sportsman Walter Schuster celebrated his 80th birthday with his family on Wednesday. The SKVB extends its warmest congratulations from the Classic Bowlers. The SKVB's greeting reads: "Walter, we wish you good clipping path service health and good health. If you still have the strength and time, your ideas and suggestions for our sport of bowling are invaluable. We are always open to them. Your experience must be utilized."
On behalf of SKVB President Kurt Wilke and the SKVB Board, Jens Lehmann presented the Brandenburg State Sports Association's silver badge of honor, a bouquet of flowers, and a large gift basket.
Four balls with the engravings of our vice world champions are still looking for their new owner on Sunday, October 11, 2015.
At midnight, two more balls were sold. One to Bamberg, one to Stegaurach. All winners will be officially notified tomorrow afternoon.
But first, we're looking for four more balls for the highest bid. The first four balls were offered at €332.34. The total proceeds will go to the DKBC youth development program.
