Our main topic is that, along with this update from Wordpress, Google also announced a Wordpress plugin that the WP ecosystem has needed for a very long time. The Wordpress plugin called Google Site Kit was officially announced yesterday on the Google Webmasters Twitter account.
What Awaits Us With the Site Kit Plugin?
The plugin is not yet available in beta and for general use. You can request early access like me from the link here . If the form you fill out is approved by Google, you can start using it before everyone else. Otherwise, Google plans to make the plugin available to everyone in beta in early 2019. AdSense: Allows you to regularly track your AdSense earnings on your pages.
PageSpeed Insights: Contains performance issues and optimization suggestions for your WordPress site, prepared using real-world data.
