McCoy immediately prepares a new dose of serum, but for the first time in the film, Xavier makes a smart decision: he refuses to inject himself. His powers having the potential to save the world, he chooses to abandon his legs to become telepathic again, and so returns to his famous wheelchair (which, pushed by Quicksilver, could make him a beast at Super Mario Kart but that's not the subject). With which he goes to the Cerebro, his homemade but still top-notch machine allowing him to increase his powers tenfold and to be able to contact all the spirits on the planet and penetrate them with ease. Wolverine is all mad, he knows that this will finally allow the script to move forward.
