Shtab is a project management platform with a wide range of tools for automating workflows, visualizing tasks and tracking progress.

We developed Shtab in 2020 to track our own tasks in the agency, and then began promoting it to a wider audience. The service now has over 48,000 users.

Problem
The need for a mobile application arose from requests from service users. Especially those who always need to have tasks in quick access (for example, when users spend most of their working day away from the computer).

In addition, the market giants, both foreign and domestic, already had iOS applications. In order to remain competitive and attract new clients who have already become accustomed to a certain standard in task trackers, we needed a mobile application Shtab.

Target
Develop a convenient mobile application to enable task management on the go, assign tasks to employees, and quickly view reports.

The process of creation
Before starting the work, we planned the necessary budget for the MVP (minimum viable product), outlined the desired functions and agreed on them with the developers. This helped to minimize risks and ensure efficient use of resources.

Step one: design
Even at the stage of developing the web version, we thought about how to adapt the design in the mobile application taking into account the iOS guidelines so that the application would be intuitive, minimalistic and convenient. This way, we managed to save time and effort and direct them to the technical part of the project.
