Example: "Would you be interested in exploring how we could implement this solution in your company? I'm available to schedule a meeting this week."
How long should an elevator pitch be?
One of the first questions that arise when we want to write an elevator pitch is "how long should I keep it?" This will depend on two main factors: the topic being covered and the audience you're addressing.

Here's the starting point: select your strong points and summarize them as much as possible.

A person's attention span is 8 seconds, according to a study conducted by Microsoft. That means you should focus on being clear and concise to capture their attention. Therefore, we need to concentrate our entire pitch on what an elevator pitch could last: between 30 seconds and 2 minutes (and 30 seconds is better than 2 minutes).

Other factors to consider are the medium you use to convey your message and your audience's willingness to listen. Keep in mind that these are two important issues when formulating the speech.

But what if I can't cut my presentation to 30 seconds? You may be in a sector that's too specific to summarize in such a short time. The important thing here is to segment your audience and find the right audience to target. Look for someone interested in and connected to your field, or the perfect audience who can interpret what you're offering.

Types of pitch
Depending on the type of audience you're addressing, we should student data clarify that there are different types of pitches or speeches. These are the most common:

1. Commercial
This is the most conventional situation. It's a company-to-potential-client pitch in which we can employ the strategy of empathizing with the problem and offering the solution. To do this, you need to know what the potential client's problem or need is and how you can demonstrate that your product or service is the solution.
