Apple is confident that the LIDAR scanner will open up new possibilities in augmented reality (AR) applications. These applications synchronize virtual objects with real space and time.

The first such developments bulgaria mobile database in 2017. Then Apple launched a platform for creating applications using augmented reality - ARKit. The tools of this platform are actively used by developers around the world.

Current ARKit apps already use LIDAR in their new modes, which place augmented reality scenes inside the scanned image automatically.

For example, in the "Roulette" application it has become even easier to find out a person's height. Vertical and lateral guides have also appeared. With their help, you can accurately measure the distances between objects in a split second.

And the Complete Anatomy app will use the depth sensor on the new iPad Pro to help therapists analyze the progress of their patients' injuries. With improved motion processing, the doctor will receive quantitative information about the recovery process.

Later this year, iPad Pro owners will be able to virtually “furnish” their homes using the IKEA Place app. In Studio Mode, LiDAR scans the room, and then in augmented reality, users will be able to arrange IKEA furniture and interior items to see how they fit with the current design. It seems like this feature will save thousands of nerve cells in men.
