The China Cyber Security Association called on Wednesday for a comprehensive review of U.S. technology company Intel's products, citing repeated cybersecurity vulnerabilities and high failure rates, to ensure the country's national security and protect the rights of Chinese consumers.
In its statement, the association highlighted several security flaws in Intel processors discovered after 2024, including GhostRace, NativeBHI and Indirector, which it said indicate serious weaknesses in Intel's product quality and security management.
The association criticized Intel's handling of the issues, calling the company's approach "irresponsible to its customers."
In addition, the association accused Intel of using remote control functions to spy on users and covertly install backdoors, which poses a significant threat to network and information security.
Intel and National Security

The statement stressed : "Intel has made significant profits in China, but continues to engage in actions that harm China's interests and threaten national security."
The accusations come as the US passes the CHIPS and Science Act, which is austria email address aimed at curbing the Chinese semiconductor industry.
